The MiniProfBT Wheel is a high-precision, lightweight and portable tool for performing fast and reliable wheel profile measurements in cross-section to monitor and analyze wheel wear. It is equipped with Bluetooth, has a cable connection option and is available in several variants depending on the wheel type. Magnetically attached to the back of the wheel, the wheel profile is measured in less than 5 seconds and a complete railcar in less than five minutes.

Get immediate results

Wear parameters such as Sd, Sh and qR values are displayed in real time immediately after each measurement. The powerful Envision software includes numerous additional calculations and alignments for basic to advanced data processing, analysis and reporting.

Wheel analyses & calculations

The MiniProfBT Envision software visualizes and calculates residuals and areas automatically. Measurements can be compared in various ways and can be easily exported in different formats.

Reprofiling

The MiniProfBT wheel system is ideal for determining when and how much material needs to be removed during re-profiling before and after re-profiling the wheels. This results in precise re-profiling and improved rolling stock life due to the unsurpassed accuracy of the MiniProf system.

Fast measurement with schemes

When measuring multiple profiles, the MiniProfBT measurement scheme is a very powerful tool to clearly identify each profile in advance and further simplify and reduce the measurement process.

Based on a 100% perfect wheel, the MiniProf 400 offers a theoretical diameter accuracy depending on the size of the wheel to be measured (see values above).
