Special cable

The “MBM-Kabelsalon” manufactures customer-specific special cables by hand.

The cables are used in railroad interlockings, among other things. A railroad signal box is a stationary system for controlling railroad operations. It is used, for example, to position points, track locks, light signals and railroad barriers. Railroad interlockings and their components – such as the cables from MBM – therefore play a decisive role in the safety of railroad operations.

It therefore goes without saying that only products of the highest quality, the utmost care in craftsmanship and an automated 100% outgoing inspection can be considered for this application.

Switch cabinet construction

The “MBM-Kabelsalon” develops and manufactures customized control cabinets with craftsmanship and technical know-how.

The switch racks are used, among other things, in railroad signal boxes that control railroad operations – for example by setting points, track closures, light signals and railroad barriers. As safety-relevant components, they must meet the highest quality standards. MBM’s switch racks therefore play a decisive role in the safety of railroad operations.

The MBM cable salon manufactures with the utmost care and 100% initial testing. Using traditional methods such as hand-tied shaped wire or “wire wrapping”, existing interlockings can also be professionally extended or modernized.

Development & prototyping

An outstanding development team is the basis for many of our in-house products. However, the MBM development team is also happy to make its experience and creativity available for customer projects.

We are particularly good and enjoy doing it:

We’re sure to find a way.

Because developers are often a bit like tall children at heart who like to play with technology.

Many developers are basically a bit like grown-up children: they really enjoy experimenting with technology, trying out new things and curiously discovering what is possible.

That’s why we are particularly happy that we are sometimes able to implement really crazy, creative and unusual ideas in our work. These moments in which we can play with technology and try out seemingly crazy concepts make our work particularly exciting and give us great pleasure every time.
