Magnetic filtering
Magnetic separators filter and remove metallic impurities from your product flow. They increase product quality and prevent damage to your production system. Magnets always work and offer high operational reliability.
Metal contaminants, also known as foreign bodies, include paper clips, nails and bolts from packaging, screws and nuts that have become loose due to vibration, wear or steel and stainless steel particles from machines and rust particles from corroded parts.
Products
Magnetic rods
Product details:
– Neodymium magnets (N-42)
– Very strong
– Waterproof
– Length 100-600 mm (in 50 mm increments)
– Tube material AISI316L
– Threaded hole M8 (1x or 2x) / M6 (1x or 2x)
– Max. Working/product temperature
up to 60°C or up to 140°C
These very strong neodymium magnetic rods are designed to remove small ferromagnetic impurities from the mass flows in a pipeline.
The strongest types can remove even the finest, weakly magnetic contaminants, such as wear particles made of 316 stainless steel. Magnetic rods are the building blocks of many magnetic separators, such as magnetic grids, cleanflow magnets and magnetic filters for pressure lines.
The magnetic rods are available in various magnetic qualities, sizes, robustness etc. and with different connections. All types are equipped with a watertight welded 316 L stainless steel housing and a smooth polished surface.
Magnetic grid

Product details:
– Optimum magnetic contact
– Low installation height
– Catch Fe particles from 30 µm
– Max. Particle size 10 mm
– With neodymium magnetic rods
Magnetic grids are often placed at a feed point or collecting hopper. They filter the finest magnetic and even weakly magnetic ferrous impurities from free-flowing powders and granulates. They are often used with a control function. Manual quick cleaning with the aid of an extractor unit.
types:
Magnetic grid round
Ø 100mm, 120mm, 150mm, 200mm, 250mm, 300mm, 350mm
Square magnetic grid
150-400mm (in 50mm increments)
Magnetic filter for free-fall lines

Product details:
– Optimum magnetic contact
– Filters Fe and low mag. Parts >30µm
– Max. Particle size 10 mm
– Types: Basic / Food / Pharma
– With neodymium magnetic rods
The magnetic filters for free-fall lines are magnetic separators in which the housing is equipped with strong neodymium magnetic rods. They filter small ferrous impurities from powders and granulates in free-fall and low-pressure conveying systems. As the magnetic bars are located within the product flow, optimum magnetic contact is achieved with optimum removal of ferrous impurities.
Possible applications: Plastics, food, pharmaceutical and ceramic industries.
types:
Rotating magnetic filters for free-fall lines
Suitable for poorly flowing powders that can cause bridging on the magnetic bars. As the magnetic bars rotate, the product continuously falls off the bars. This keeps the bar cleaner, more effective at capturing iron and prevents blocking of the product channel.
Static magnetic filters for free-fall lines
Suitable for granulates and dry, free-flowing powders.
Magnetic filters for liquids and powders in pressure lines

Product details:
– Optimum magnetic contact
– Catch Fe particles from 30 µm
– Max. 10 bar / 140 °C
– With neodymium magnetic rods
These flow-through magnetic separators filter small ferrous impurities, such as wear particles from liquid mixtures and powders in pressure lines up to 10 bar. The powerful neodymium magnetic rods of the filter are located in the middle (in-line) of the product flow. This ensures optimum magnetic contact so that even the smallest iron particles are optimally removed.
They are used in the food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. For example, for milk powder, melted chocolate, pigments and paints. But also in the ceramics industry, for example, to prevent the formation of black spots that occur in glazing.
types:
Basic / Food / Pharma
Pipe magnets

Product details:
– Ferrite or electromagnetic core
– Max. Particle size 50 mm
– High capacity (up to 550 m³/h)
– Atex II 1/2 D possible
Tubular magnets have a large cone-shaped magnetic core in the center of the product flow. They filter medium to large iron impurities from coarse mass flows of high capacity. The shape of the magnet ensures a good flow with high separation efficiency. The permanent magnetic versions must be cleaned manually, whereas the electromagnetic versions are cleaned automatically.
Pipe magnets are used in the bulk goods, animal feed, plastics, recycling and ceramics industries, among others.
types:
Permanent tubular magnets Manual cleaning (lower installation height)
Electric tubular magnets automatic cleaning (greater installation height necessary due to additional hinged box required)
Plate magnetic separator

Product details:
– Suitable for high capacities
– One-sided magnetic field
– Catches Fe parts from 0.5 mm
– No bridging possible
– Manual cleaning
– AISI316L (SS 1.4404)
If these magnetic plates are installed in free-fall pipes or chute systems (with an inclination angle of up to 45°), they catch coarse iron particles in mass flows. With this type of separation, there is no magnet directly in the product flow. The product flow is therefore always optimal and bridging is prevented. This iron separation is particularly suitable for coarse raw materials with a high capacity.
Application examples: Bulk goods, animal feed, plastics, ceramics and recycling industries.
External pole magnet - Manual quick cleaning

Product details:
– Quick cleaning with extractor plates
– Double-sided magnetic field
– Capacity up to 200 m³/h
– With neodymium or ferrite plate magnets
– Low installation height
– Catches Fe parts from 0.5 mm
The outer pole magnet is for filtering ferrous impurities from free-fall pipelines with coarse products and high capacity. The magnetic plates are placed outside the product channel to ensure an unobstructed product flow. Quick and easy to clean by hand using a hinged extractor plate (quick cleaning).
External pole magnet - automatic cleaning

Product details:
– High capacity (up to 480 m³/h)
– Low installation height
– Automatic cleaning (discontinuous)
– Bridging or accumulation are
excluded
– High collection capacity for iron
The robust outer pole magnet filters large ferrous particles up to 50 mm from free-fall lines. Very well suited for product flows with high capacity in combination with relatively low installation heights.
The magnetic plates are placed outside the product channel to ensure an unobstructed product flow. Due to the automatic cleaning, this system is used in areas that are difficult to access for maintenance and cleaning.
