MiniProf BT Brake provides instant calculations of brake hollowing and brake thickness. The MiniProf Envision software can automatically visualize and calculate residuals and areas. Measurements can be compared in various ways and can be easily exported in different formats.
Wheel- or axle-mounted
The MiniProf BT Brake mounted on the wheel is magnetically attached to the vertical part of the wheel on the back of the flange or on the outside of the rim. This part of the wheel serves as a reference for the measurement. The axle-mounted MiniProf BT Brake is mounted on the outer diameter of the brake disk and attached with magnetic rollers. These are also aligned with the wear markings on the disk, which serve as reference points for the measurement.
