A magnetic roller separates ferromagnetic particles such as iron or steel, but also weakly magnetic particles (such as processed stainless steel) from coarse to very fine fractions and removes them completely automatically and continuously. The magnetic roller is installed as a drive roller or end roller in an existing conveyor belt system and is a cost-effective magnetic metal separator. It is important to feed the material in a thin (and preferably single) layer via the conveyor belt to the magnetic conveyor belt roller. Magnetic belt rollers require virtually no maintenance, and because these magnets are integrated into an existing system, there are almost no additional operating and energy costs.
For thicker layers, we recommend combining a magnetic belt roller with an overbelt magnetic separator. In this configuration, the lifting magnet pulls the steel parts out of the upper layer and the magnetic belt roller pulls them out of the lower layers of the mass flow. Magnetic belt roller separators are particularly suitable for separating problematic shaped objects such as ball bearings or batteries.

Drum magnets in the housing

These magnetic drums have an industrial finish. They remove ferrous impurities with a size of 1 – 5 mm from all types of non-food powders and granulates. This basic type is equipped with a 3,000 gauss magnetic drum.
Overbelt magnets

For installation above conveyor belts when loading bulk materials or in the recycling industry. Overbelt magnetic separators remove ferrous particles from raw materials and automatically and continuously discharge them. A reliable and effective method for separating large quantities of iron.
They have a very deep magnetic field and are therefore suitable for very thick layers. A control cabinet is required.

Eddy current separator

is the all-rounder of the ECS machine line and can be used for a wide range of product streams: From coarse to medium-fine fractions. Many combinations are possible for the desired application. Available with 12- or 22HI-pole Wibelstrom magnetic roller.
EddyFines
Highly developed and powerful. Equipped with a 38HI pole eddy current magnetic roller for the separation of small and heavy non-ferrous particles (such as copper, gold, silver and palladium).
Plate and block magnets

Plate magnets and block magnets are cost-efficient, robust magnets with a deep-acting magnetic field. They are therefore suitable for filtering medium to large iron particles from raw material streams. They can be easily installed in existing installations. They can be suspended above a conveyor belt, attached to the wall of a product channel or under a product flow.
Plate/block magnets are also the building blocks of our magnetic separator systems for relatively coarse product flows and higher capacities. For example, for plate magnetic separators and overbelt magnets.

For removing large steel parts from mass flows or in the recycling industry. Suitable for greater installation heights. Can be switched on and off.

– Plate magnet:
Ferrite magnetic plates are cost-efficient, but less powerful and larger than neodymium magnetic plates. They have the advantage that they can be used up to 100 °C. Magnetic plates remove ferrous impurities from 0.5 mm. Not suitable for weakly magnetic stainless steel contaminants.

Neodymium block magnets
– Plate magnet:
Neodymium magnetic plates are extremely powerful, compact and lightweight. They are suitable for separating ferrous impurities from 30 µm to 3 mm. Made entirely of stainless steel and waterproof. Suitable for the food industry.
